Tidelands Health cares about the wellbeing of its team members and their families. The EAP offers confidential help for individual and work-related issues at no cost — whenever you need it—24/7.

What’s Covered

The EAP is available through Aetna Resources for Living and offers:

  • Counseling – get up to five confidential, face-to-face sessions with a licensed provider (per concern, per year) and unlimited phone counseling 24/7.
  • Talkspace – access a therapist via text, video and audio messages online or through the Talkspace mobile app (one week of chat therapy = one visit). You can also receive 30-minute, real‐time virtual sessions (each session = one visit).
  • Legal/financial – get a free initial consultation (30 minutes) and discounted service fees with qualified professionals.
  • Work/life resources – get help finding providers and services for childcare, eldercare, household help and more.
  • Virtual library – access over 5,000 self‐help webinars, newsletters, and articles, free legal templates and online will kit, coupons and online discount center, and myStrength (an online mindfulness coach).
